Cannot change employee position number and job class within Salary and Benefit Projections

How do I change an existing employees position number and job class? When I click Update, the Job Class and Position fields are greyed out.

• Munis

• Payroll

• Salary and Benefit Projections

• Projection Employee Job/Salary

1. Access Projection Job Employee Job/Salary (Munis> Human Capital Management > Payroll > Salary and Benefit Projections > Projection Salary Processing > Projection Employee Job/Salary)

2. Search for the employee record and Accept.

3. Select Duplicate.

4. Now change the desired job class and position for the new record.

5. Select Accept.

6. Return to previous record click Update and end date that record with an appropriate date.
