Unable to Merge Accounts from Different Funds
Description of Issue
Unable to merge accounts tied to different funds, error message
'Please enter two accounts that have the same FUND'
Context
Account Merge
Cause
Functionality of the Account Merge only allows for accounts with the same Fund
Resolution
Accounts with different funds cannot be merged in the system. It is recommended to create journal entries to move the amounts from one fund to the other and then to inactivate/close the old fund.
