Cannot access Time Entry History





Description of Issue

Users are getting a permission error when attempting to access Time Entry History.

No access permissions for this User



Context
  • Payroll

  • Time Entry

  • Time Entry History

  • Employee Detail History

  • User Attributes

  • Roles



Cause

No category access to Employee Detail History.

No Menu access to both paths to Time Entry History. 



Resolution
  1. Access Roles: System Administration > Security > Roles

  2. Search on the Role that is intended to grant the user access.

  3. Click into the HR Management/Payroll folder

  4. Click on the Category Access tab, click Update select a level of at least Inquiry Only for Employee Master Main and Employee Detail History.

  5. Click Accept

  6. Click Return. Click on the Menu Security tab

  7. Select Edit, enable the Access boxes along the menu path to:

    1. Human Capital Management > Payroll > Employee History > Employee Detail History

    2. Payroll>Payroll Processing>Time Entry Processing>Time Entry History

    3. Payroll>Employee History>Time Entry History

  8. Click Accept
