ExecuTime Clock In Out Grace Period

ExecuTime Clock In Out Grace Period

Description of Issue

How does the grace period work in ExecuTime?

Context
  • Munis

  • ExecuTime

  • Schedules

Cause

Resolution
  1. Log into ExecuTime.

  2. Go to System Admin>Schedule Maintenance>Schedules

  3. Click Edit icon next to applicable schedule.

  4. Note the Schedule times and Grace Periods section.

    1. For Example, if the schedule is from 08:00 to 16:00 with a 7 minute grace period, meaning we are really looking at a schedule that runs 7:54 to 16:06 when the grace period is taken into account. It counts the 08:00 and 16:00 as the first minute.

    2.  If the employee attempts to clock in/out outside of the breakdown, they will be unable to.

      1. 7 minutes before/after 08:00 - 7:54-8:06

      2. 7 minutes before/after 16:00 - 15:54-16:06

Additional Information
  • The employee would not be able to clock in from Employee Actions > Clock In/Out outside of the grace period.

  • The Supervisor should be able to create a time entry under Supervisor Actions > Employee Time Maintenance.
