Description of Issue

  • In ESS Accrual Buyout, where is the Maximum Allowable Election defined? 



Context

  • Employee Self Service (ESS) 

  • Time Off

  • Munis

  • Human Capital Management (HCM) 

  • Payroll 

  • End of Period Processing

  • Accrual Buyout



Cause

  • User needs to adjust the Maximum Allowable Election that can be bought out



Resolution

  1. Access Munis > HCM > Payroll > End of Period > Accrual Buyout Election Periods

  2. Determine the Buyout Election Period in question

  3. Click on MOS Settings

  4. Click Update, then change the Max Buyout

  5. Employee buyout records will need to be generated again in order for this change to impact active buyout records
