Description of Issue

We have a new user that is unable to access Dashboard with the error: Sorry, this site hasn't been shared with you.



Context

  • Munis

  • Tyler Dashboard

  • New User

  • Active Directory

  • SharePoint



Cause

User has not been added to the MunisUsers (or equivalent) Active Directory security group or the SharePoint 24 hour "deny" token has not yet passed



Resolution

  1. Verify security groups for the user in question running this command in command prompt: net user /domain userID 

    1. Replace userID with the user's AD username

    2. Do not replace domain with the domain name

  2. Add user to the MunisUsers security group (or equivalent)

  3. Once the user has been added to the correct group, they will be able to access Dashboard after the 24 hour "deny" token has expired
