NYS-45 Report - How to override employee count

NYS-45 Report - How to override employee count

Description of Issue

My June warrant dates did not include the 12th of the month.  I will not have another payroll in June.  Is there a way to override the system to give me an employee count on the NYS45?

Context
  • Payroll
  • New York
  • NY NYS-45 Report
Cause

New York requires an employee to be counted for a month if they are covered by U.I. AND either worked during the pay period including the 12th day of the month, or received pay for the pay period including the 12th day of the month.  The NYS-45 Report program is only evaluating payroll warrants that cross the 12th of the month, based on the Start and End date fields from the Payroll Start Status screen.

Resolution

New York does not collect this detail in the electronic submission file.  The counts are manually entered as part of the file submission process.  Use the Month Count values from the Multiple Worksite Report program for this step.
