Potential work around:

• If the Project code has not been used on any transaction and not applied to any GL accounts you can delete the project code and recreate it without the apostrophe
• Utilize the Account Import program to import the project strings
• Importing Project Strings instead of Manually Adding - General Ledger Account Import
