Function of the Primary Job/Position check box in Employee Job Salary

• The Primary Job/Position box it used to tell the system which is the primary job/position if an employee is currently working in more than one Job Class or Position. 
• When adding employees, the Primary Job/Position flag would be checked.  The box would not be checked for any secondary Job Classes or Positions assigned to the employee.

If an employee transfers to a new Job Class and/or Position, then uncheck the Primary Job/Position box on the most recent Effective Dated Employee Job/Salary record.
