Description of Issue

Need to update a posted Munis journal, is this possible?

Context
  • Posted Transaction
  • Update / Change / Modify
Cause

Site posted a Journal from a Munis program incorrectly defined and would like to update it to avoid reversing then reentering the transaction again.

Resolution
  • Once a journal is posted it cannot be updated, changed or modified in any way by Munis design.
  • Site should reverse the transaction using normal process for the Munis module that posted the transaction then rekey or enter it correctly again.
Additional Information
  • Opposing Journal or companion corrective journal transaction is advised.
