Changing the number of pays on a salary table did not change the number of pays in Employee Job Salary

Cause

Updating the number of pays on a salary table does not change the number of pays on existing Employee Job Salary records

Resolution
  1. Go to Employee Job/Salary. (Payroll>Employee Maintenance>Employee Job/Salary)
  2. Search for set the employees. Click Accept. (The Global Update works on the active set of employees)
  3. Click Global Update in the menu. 
  4. Click Define. Check the Update Number of Pays checkbox and the number of pays
  5. Define Salary Change Effective Date. 
  6. Click Accept. Click Execute. Choose output option. 
  7. Review proof report. Click Yes to Post Updates prompt.
