Backup prior to processing year end

Do I need to save backup prior to processing year end in Munis?

Need to save and protect data prior to processing fiscal year end close. If you encounter an error or there is an extreme balance issue, the system can be restored to a backup so data and work is not lost.

A system backup should be taken 3 times during the year end close process. Your site IT, TSM or TSM Saas support can assist end users with the back up process. 

1. Prior to running the Close Fiscal Year Program
2. Prior to running the Open Current Year Program
3. Prior to Running the Budget Completion Journal program
