Mass Update Employee Deduction Amount Percent

How can I mass update the Employee Amount Percent field in Employee Deductions?

Cause

Employee amount is increasing for everyone by one dollar. 

Resolution
  1. Access Employee Deductions: Payroll> Employee Maintenance> Employee Deductions 
  2. Search for the deduction code and verify the Employee Amount is the same for all employees in set
  3. Click Mass Update, click Define, select Employee Amt/Pct from Change drop down
  4. The current Amount will display in the first box, Define the new Amount in the box to the right
  5. Click Accept, click Execute 
  6. Mass Update prompt will display asking if you want to continue. Click Yes.
Additional Information
  • The mass update option is not a proof post process. Verify all records in active set are eligible for update. The process updates Active Set. The process is the same for Percent updates. 
  • Mass Update will update deductions at the employee level. Updates will occur only for the option currently chosen. (Period amounts for deductions with calc code of 01, 03, 34, 41, or 43 will not be updated.)
