How to give user permission to update their own journals

Can a user update a journal they created?

General Ledger Roles

Cause

User does not have the permission to Update own journal entries

Resolution

To update user's permission and grant them access to update their own journal entries:


Enterprise ERP > System Administration > Security > User Attributes

  1. Click Search

  2. Enter user's credentials

  3. Click Accept

  4. Locate role to change access on

  5. Click Edit Role

  6. Click General Ledger

  7. Click Update

  8. Check off box for Update own journal entries

  9. Click Accept

  10. Click Back 

  11. Click Back

  12. Click Reset Files
