How to Check Server Up Time
Description of Issue
When troubleshooting server performance concerns, it is necessary to check the number of days the server has been in use before continuing troubleshooting.

Cause
A server with an uptime of more than 30 days can experience general slowness, or reduced performance.
Resolution
- Login into the server in question
- Open Task Manager from the start menu or by right clicking the Taskbar at the bottom of the screen > Task Manager
- If not expanded, click More Details
- Select the Performance tab
- At the bottom of the CPU tab, you will see Up time with the number of days the server has been up for
- If the server has been up for more the 30 days, the server should be rebooted
