Account Inquiry Comment field no longer reflects user-entered descriptions
Description of Issue
- CRP Journals and Account Inquiry Comment fields are not maintaining user-entered reference information.
- Comment fields displaying 2025 MS MS instead of the Charge Code description.
Context
- Accounts Receivable
- Payment Entry (arbilinq)
- General Ledger
- Account Inquiry (glactinq)
- Journal Inquiry/Print (glcjeinq)
Cause
Enhancements to GL Posting routines have altered the behavior.
Resolution
Development is currently researching the issue. There is no known workaround at this time other than to refrain from posting.
Additional Information
- The Comment field seems to be pulling generic information about these records such as the Fiscal Year and Receipt Type rather than descriptions entered during the receipting process.
- If additional assistance is required, please contact the appropriate Accounts Receivable Support Team: How to determine the correct Accounts Receivable support team to assist with an issue
