Description of Issue

Misc. Receipt GL Payment Allocation Revenue description no longer displays in GL Account Inquiry as both the Revenue and Cash Account Comments

Charge Code description displays in GL Account Inquiry as the Cash Account Comment, even though a Revenue Account description was entered in the GL Payment Allocation section for a Misc. payment

Cause




Resolution

  • If a GL Payment Allocation description was not populated for the Revenue Account, the system will use the Charge Code Description as both the Revenue and Cash Account Comments in GL Account Inquiry

  • If a GL Payment Allocation description was populated for the Revenue Account, the system will use the Charge Code Description as the Cash Account Comment, and the Revenue Description as the Revenue Comment in GL Account Inquiry
