Cause

Informational.



Resolution

A limit may be entered on the Deduction and Benefit Master screen.  This will limit the insured amount, when add the Employee Deduction record.  It will not limit the withholdings taken in the payroll.



Additional Information

The development team made a change in v2024.3 and higher on work ticket MUN-479950 to limit the withholdings, instead of insured amounts.  This means users may enter a Limit Type on the Main tab of Deduction and Benefit Master, such as M-Monthly, or C-Check.  Then enter the limit amount in the Employee Limit and/or Employer Limit field in the Employee Deductions screen. If the insured amount must be limited, use the Employee/Employer Max Salary fields on the Insurance tab in Deduction and Benefit Master.
