Description of Issue

  • User has multiyear life to date projects maintained on the project ledger

  • Would like to know if project year end close process is required for available budget to carry forward at project year end

Cause

  • Multiyear life to date projects are excluded from the Project Year End Close process

  • Multiyear life to date projects available budget will automatically carry available budget forward when year rolls in accordance with Project fiscal range



Resolution

Only projects with Project Available Budget of Yearly will be included in project year end close process

The general ledger year end close process does not affect the project ledger
