Can the Files in the Octopus Folder Be Deleted

Our Octopus folder is continuing to grow and is limiting available space on our drive

Can the files in (drive letter):\Octopus\Files\ be deleted?

• Tyler Deploy

• Octopus

• TSM On Premises

• TSM SaaS

Deployment packages are saved to this folder whenever a deployment is run

• The files in (drv):\Octopus\Files\ can safely be removed after a deployment has installed successfully. 

• Please note, if you remove all packages from (drv):\Octopus\Files\ Octopus Deploy may need to re-download some packages when you install the next product release, which may result in the deployment taking a little bit longer to run than usual. If you leave the files there, Octopus does not have to transfer full packages on your next update.
