MA TACS option in Deduction Report - File format appears to have changed



Description of Issue

Two files created from the same payroll should be identical and aren't.

Cause

Files created with different define criteria.



Resolution

Make the two define screens match by selecting Update.

  • Amounts for deductions defined as Base Deductions are reported in positions 17-26.

  • Amounts for deductions defined as Incremental Deductions are reported in positions 75-84.

  • Amounts for deductions defined as Makeup Deductions are reported on a separate, additional line in the file, in positions 17-26.
