Change the collection status of a tax bill

Would like to know how to manually change a tax bills collection status.

• Bill Adjustments (txblgnmt)

The collection status of a bill needs to be changed manually. 

The collection status of a bill has implications. Please only change the collection status of a bill if the full ramifications of the change are understood or if instructed to by Support. 

1. Navigate to the Bill Adjustments program either by searching or using the following path: Property Revenues > Property Tax Billing > Region > State > Collection Processing > Bill Adjustments 

2. Click Search. 

3. Click General. 

4. Enter the Bill, AR category, and Year for the bill that needs a manual update to its collection status. 

5. Click Accept. 

6. Click Update. 

7. Select the desired Bill status from the dropdown. 

8. Click Accept.

9. Repeat steps 2-8 for each bill as necessary.
