Hourly Rate for Additional Pay in Time Entry Defaults to Base Pay Rate Upon Saving - Unable to edit Rate due to Time Entry Permissions
Time Entry users are unable to key in an hourly rate for a calc code 01 additional pay code in Time Entry. We can click Update and change the rate, but when we save the record, if defaults back to the employee's base pay.Â

The user's Role did not have the Time Entry setting for Rates/Amounts set to Edit, they were set to Disable.Â
To update the Role:
Go to User Attributes (System Administration>Security>User Attributes)
Search for the User. Click Accept.Â
Determine which Role grants Payroll Access. Click the applicable Role.
Click Edit Role at the bottom of the screen.
Click the HR Management/Payroll Folder.Â
Click the Time Entry tab.
Click Update. Next to the Rates/Amounts field, select Edit.Â
Click Accept.Â
