How to limit access to Accounts Receivable Settings



Description of Issue

Looking to limit users from updating Accounts Receivable Settings.

  • When clicking the Update button in AR Settings, receiving a message: Your permissions do not allow you to access this option.

Cause



Resolution

You can limit maintenance to the Accounts Receivable Settings program. This is a Role based permission. Users assigned to the Role with still have access to view information on screen, but unable to Update. 

Note: Requires Administration permissions to change.

  1. Navigate to: System Administration > Security > Roles

  2. Search for the Role to change.

  3. Click the Accounts Receivable folder.

  4. Click Update.

  5. Unselect the Maintain AR Settings checkbox.

  6. Click Accept.
