Time Entry Error - Pay Code XXX Is Invalid For A Non-Absence Record



Description of Issue

When trying to add a pay code in Time Entry getting following error

Error : Pay Code 300 Is Invalid For a Non-Absence Record

Cause

Pay code is an accrual pay code with Category Code is 3-Absence/Accrual



Resolution
  1. Go to Pay Master(Payroll > Payroll Setup> Pay Master)

  2. Click Search

  3. Enter Pay Code

  4. Click Accept

    1. If the Category Code is 3-Absence/Accrual, then select the Absence Field In Time Entry as Yes
