Description of Issue

Zebra printer is printing an extra blank label during every print from Munis.



Context

  • Zebra GK420d



Cause

The printer must be recalibrated after changing rolls or after initial installation to prevent extra pages from printing.



Resolution

Calibration via Feed Button

  1. On the device, press the Feed button and let the green light continuously blink to perform the calibration

  2. Test a label print from Munis to verify

Calibration via Device Settings (Only for ThinPrint)

  1. Navigate to the Control Panel on your ThinPrint Server

  2. Go to Devices and Printers

  3. Right-click on the device and choose Printing Preferences > Tools > Action > Calibrate media > Send

  4. Test a label print from Munis to verify
