Remove No Reason as a code in ESS Actions

Remove No Reason as a code in ESS Actions

Description of Issue
  • I am testing a new ESS name change action in our test environment. When testing, we get a 'no reason' option that we'd like to remove. Please advise.
Context
  • Munis
  • Human Capital Management (HCM)
  • Employee Self Service (ESS)
  • Personnel Actions
Cause
  • The Action Code record is defined with an ESS Template
Resolution
  • To resolve, you will need to remove the ESS Template from the Action Code
    1. Navigate to the program Action Codes
      • Menu > Human Capital Management > Human Resources > Personnel Actions > Action Codes
    2. Click Search and locate the issue Action Code
    3. Review the field ESS Template
    4. Click Update and remove the definition
      • We recommend to use Action Reasons to support this process
    5. Click Accept to lock in the changes
Additional Information
  • Please reach out to Munis Human Resources Support with any additional questions
