What's the difference between Capital Asset Adjustment and Improvement transactions?

Resolution

Both transaction types are identical with a few exceptions:

  • Adjustments can be processed by percentage while Improvements do not have that option.
  • Assets with a status of CIP can only be Improved and not Adjusted.
Additional Information

Most sites use Improvement transactions for adding value to an asset and Adjustment transactions for other modifications, but which transaction you use is completely your choice
