How to auto-populate accounts on new assets

Context

Fixed/Capital Assets

Cause


Resolution
  1. Add a record in the Fixed/Capital Asset Accounts program for the account used to purchase the asset
  2. In New Assets, pull up the asset and enter a type 9 account line using the purchasing account
  3. Tabbing past that line will give you option to populate the rest of the accounts based on the Fixed/Capital Asset Accounts record for that purchasing account
