Recommended TCM Full Client batch scan settings
Occasionally users will report red x's by batch scanned pages in the TCM Full Client or the barcode is unable to be read. Setting the batch scan settings to these recommended settings may resolve some of those issues.

Batch Scanning
Log into the TCM Full Client and navigate to the Batch Scan Module.
Click on Settings.
Click on Scanner Options.
Under Provider, select TWain.
Under source, select the PaperStream option of the scanner the user is trying to scan with. Make sure that WIA is not selected.
Under DPI, select 300.
Under Image Type, select Gray Scale (Color works too, but Gray Scale provides a better read on the barcodes).
Under Compression, leave on High.
Under Paper Source leave on Autofeeder. If the site is using a flatbed scanner, then select Flatbed.
Under Paper Size, select Auto Detect.
Under File Format, let the client decide what format their scans are saved as.
Leave Image Queue Size to whatever the default is.
For the check boxes, let client decide what features they would like. Here is what they do when checked:
Duplex: Scans both sides of paper.
Auto Rotate: Rotates scan.
Auto Deskew: Straightens page if crooked.
Auto Brightness: Adjusts the brightness if scans are too dark.
Show Scanner Dialog: The scanner's settings will pop up each scan.
Auto Remove Blank Pages: Removes pages that are blank, such as the backs of invoices.
Leave Blank Page Threshold % to default.
Ask user to test and see if batch scans provide better results after adjusting settings.
