How to update employer limit for one employee



Description of Issue

User needs to update one employee's employer limit



Context

Employee Deductions



Cause

For deductions with calc code 01 and 03 it pulls it's information from the deduction and benefit master and cannot be updated on the employee deduction record. By updating the calc code on the employee's deduction record to either 02 or 04, depending if the deductions pulls an amount or a percentage, the user will then be able to update the employer limit.



Resolution

All calc codes except 01 and 03

  1. Go to Employee Deductions and hit Update. The change the employer limit to correct amount.

Calc Code 01 and 03

  1. Go to employee update and hit Update. Change the calc code to either 02 or 04.

  2. Update employer limit.
