Cause

Another process is locking the gljnlnum table



Resolution

Follow the steps below to review the user and process causing the lock encountered when adding a BUA.

Munis > Financials > General Ledger Menu > Budget Processing > Budget Transfers and Amendments

  1. Add

  2. Enter BUA information

  3. Accept

  4. Once the lock id displayed click OK

  5. Click Yes to view the list of lock records

  6. Sort by Date Locked and locate the oldest record

  7. The user listed under Locked By is running a process that is locking this table. Once they complete or abort their process the lock should clear. 

If any locks persist, contact Munis Financial General Ledger Support or log an Online Support Client Portal case categorized as General Ledger
