Spool Directory only showing personal saved reports

Description of Issue

When in the Spool Directory I only see files with my user ID, how can I see others or the Unknown user for the Payroll Direct Deposit file?

Cause

The Spool File Maintenance was set to Personal instead of Full.



Resolution

If the user should have Full access to all reports in Munis:

  1. Go to the User's Role. (System Administration>Security>Roles)

  2. Search for the Role. Click Munis System folder. 

  3. Click Update. 

  4. Next to the Spool File Maintenance Access field, click the drop down and select F-Full. 

  5. Click Accept. 

If the user should have Personal access and only see their own saved reports in the spool, but needs to access the Direct Deposit File:

  1. Go to File Transfer. (System Administration>Miscellaneous Administration>File Transfer)

  2. Click Download From Spool Directory.

  3. In the toolbar, click Get Unassigned Files. 

  4. Retrieve Unassigned Spool File prompt will display. Define the file name for the direct deposit file and click Ok. 



Additional Information

Updating the Spool File Maintenance Access to Full will allow the user to see all saved reports in Munis from all users.Â
