How to truncate the SSN and FID on 1099s

Context

  • Accounts Payable 

  • AP 1099 manager 

Cause

New to functionality 

Resolution

In AP 1099 Manager on the Setup tab for each form, select the check box next to Truncate Recipient TIN

Additional Information

When Truncate Recipient TIN is selected it will mask all but the last four digits of the vendors SSN/FID number.
