Does the Benefits Module enroll the employee directly into the insurance or is this something the employer initiates once the employee elects?

When an employee enrolls in benefits, does the selection register directly with the insurance company?

The Benefits Enrollment functionality only adds their elected information to the employee's records within Enterprise ERP. The final benefit enrollment with the insurance company needs to be completed and processed by the Employer.
