Cause
Printer settings needed on a new printer being set up for Tyler Forms or ReadyForms
Resolution
- Printer needs to have specifications defined in the document found at Tyler Forms New Printer Requirements
- Printer needs to be installed via TCP/IP:
- For DocOrigin forms, the printer must be installed in the Forms Server. Most sites have Forms with TCM server. You can find the server in TylerDeploy under Site Report.
- For Enterprise Forms (ReadyForms), the printer should be installed in the Munis app server: How to create an Enterprise Forms Printer
- Printer driver needs to be PCL5, PCL5e, PCL6, or Generic/Text Only
- Printer name needs to match printer set up in Printer Definitions screen (ReadyForms) or the Tyler Forms Integration Configuration (Tyler Forms)
