How to change the status of an account





Description of Issue

How do I inactive an account?



Context
  • Account

  • Account Master

  • Status



Cause

Account is no longer being used.



Resolution

MUNIS > Financials > General Ledger Menu > Set up chart of accounts > Account Master

  • Click on Search

  • Type in the Org, Object, Project number or the long account

  • Click Accept


Once the account pulls in

  • Click Update

  • Change the status of the Account

  • Click Accept
