Unable to enter a requisition without a contract





Description of Issue

Error received when entering a new requisition: Enter contract number. Your permissions require that a contract be entered.

  • Roles



Cause

User is restricted to entering requisitions tied to contracts through their Requisition Roles permissions. 



Resolution

System Administration > Security > Roles

  1. Click Search and locate the role(s) tied to the user

  2. Click Accept 

  3. Select the Requisitions folder

  4. Uncheck Restrict to entering REQs with contracts

  5. Have the user log out of Munis for permissions to take affect.
