Setup Datasource for building Custom SSRS Reports in SaaS

• Enterprise ERP(MUNIS) all versions
• SaaS Hosted Clients
• Tyler Reporting Services

Need Live_Builder Datasource to build Custom SSRS Reports

Step-1: Obtain the Enterprise ERP DB servername:

• For SaaS hosted DB servers in DATACENTER, please refer to your site report for the servername(usually of format xxxxxxx.tylerhost.net) and database name.
• For SaaS hosted DB servers in AWS, the servername is in format <IP_address>/<Instance_name>, please reach out to EERP Reporting Services support team to obtain this.

Step-2: Creating the datasource:

The following steps illustrate how to setup a Live_Builder Datasource

1. In SSRS URL, click on + New on the top right and select Data Source 
2. After providing an appropriate name for this Datasource, paste the connection string(below) in the Connection string textbox
   
   • Data Source=<server_name>;Initial Catalog=<database_name> 
3. Under Credential section, select By prompting the user viewing the report for credentials
4. Select Database user name and password from Type of credentials dropdown
5. Click Apply

A reporting account is necessary to run any report using this datasource. Refer to the following article on how to create a reporting account.
