Need to configure Live_Builder Datasource
Setup Datasource for building Custom SSRS Reports in SaaS
Context

Cause
Need Live_Builder Datasource to build Custom SSRS Reports
Resolution
Step-1: Obtain the Enterprise ERP DB servername:
- For SaaS hosted DB servers in DATACENTER, please refer to your site report for the servername(usually of format xxxxxxx.tylerhost.net) and database name.
- For SaaS hosted DB servers in AWS, the servername is in format <IP_address>/<Instance_name>, please reach out to EERP Reporting Services support team to obtain this.
Step-2: Creating the datasource:
The following steps illustrate how to setup a Live_Builder Datasource
- In SSRS URL, click on + New on the top right and select Data Source
- After providing an appropriate name for this Datasource, paste the connection string(below) in the Connection string textbox
- Data Source=<server_name>;Initial Catalog=<database_name>
- Under Credential section, select By prompting the user viewing the report for credentials
- Select Database user name and password from Type of credentials dropdown
- Click Apply
