After Output Post journal continues to show as processing

A journal with 5 lines still shows Processing... at the bottom of the screen a few minutes after clicking Output Post.

Why is it taking so long for a journal to process?

Journal is in Held status and needs to be released before posting.

Work ticket MUN-492879 is open with development to address this issue.

• The journal status needs to show as Approved before posting.  Click Release.  

• Once the journal shows as Approved, select Output Post.
