Two users can close the same Contract at the same time causing Encumbrance issues

Description of Issue

At certain points during the Close Contract process, two separate users or browser windows can close an Encumbered Contract at the same time, which creates two contract close journals, causing Encumbrance issues, and flagging the account on the General Ledger Encumbrance Utility.

Resolution

  • Please download MUN-464264 from Tyler Deploy when available

  • If this has already occurred, a General Ledger Encumbrance Journal will need to be created and posted to the account
