Several errors in Earnings and Deductions

Description of Issue

I am getting several errors in Earnings and Deductions in Payroll. The errors seem to be random, sometimes when a deduction is double clicked and sometimes when trying to update or delete a deduction. 

Munis (prpylfm)
Unable to commit a database transaction. Status -6372 [ISAM 0]
Additional info concerning a status error of -6372:
General SQL error, check SWL (CA.SWLERRD[2].

Invalid Transaction Structure (prpylfm)
An invalid stucture for database transaction logging has been detected.
A ROLLBACK WORK instruction was executed without an open transaction.
Previous Transaction ID: Begin = 1469. commit =1607
Current Transaction ID: rollback = 1607

Munis (prpyrlfm)
Unable to start a database transaction status -535 [ISAM -1]
Additional information concerning a status error of -535:
Already in transaction.

Error opening ded_gross_except_curs. -1349 [ISAM -245]
Additional Information concerning a status error of -1346:
[Microsoft][SQL server nativeclient 11.0][SQL Server] Conversion failed when converting the varchar value '846' ' to data type smallint.

Cause

Some Exceptions had special characters (example, apostrophes) included in the pay and/or deduction ranges. 

Resolution
  1. Go to Payroll Exceptions. (Payroll>Payroll Setup>Deduction and Benefit Master. Click Exceptions in the menu.)

  2. Search and Accept.

  3. Navigate through the records to locate the ones showing the special character (example, apostrophes). Click Update. Remove the special character. Click Accept. 

If there is a substantial amount of exceptions please call Payroll Support as a Tech support person can look in the server to locate the records.
