GL Master not Found for Benefits Only Employees

In Payroll Processing, the GL Distribution Journal report is showing GL Master not Found errors for Benefits Only employees.

• Payroll Control Settings 

The Payroll Control Settings for Employee Account for Benefits Only was set to N, the system will take the cash account Org and blend it with the expense deduction Obj to create the account.  If an account with that cash/expense does not exist, it will cause this error.

To update the Payroll Control Setting: 

1. Go into Payroll Control Settings (Human Capital Management > Payroll > Payroll Setup > Payroll Control Settings) 

2. Under Category, locate GL Posting and select Employee Account for Benefits Only

3. Select Accept

   1. To change the value from N, select Update The value would need to be set to P, for Employee Org and Proj for Benefits Only, or Y for Employee Org for Benefits Only

   2. Accept to save the change

   3. Accept to go back to Payroll Control Settings
