GA CPI - Submission 3 File Layout Changes on D Record

Georgia Department of Education (GA DOE) is adding a COVID leave type to the D Record for Submission 3

Reporting agency file layout change

Resolution

This will be changed under (master) work ticket MUN-412052.  Install the appropriate work ticket for your Munis Version as follows: 

11.3.25.0       — MUN-416617 
2017.1.19.0    — MUN-416618 
2018.1.29.0    — MUN-416619 
2019.1.22.0    — MUN-416621 

Additional Information

If your district recorded leave taken due to Covid-19, please report those days in the CPI-3 data collection. This new leave type is reported on the D record in CPI. The D layout has been extended. The COVID leave type has been added in positions 45-47. 

If you could not or did not record leave taken due to Covid-19, you do not need to go back and pull out this information. This field is not required this year. GA DOE will let you know if the leave type will be collected in FY2021-2022 before the school year starts.

The CPI-3 data collection starts on July 8th and ends on July 22nd this year.
