NYSLRS Report - Reported Days missing

NYSLRS Report - Reported Days missing

Description of Issue

Reported Days are not showing up in the days and contribution period records or the file.

Context
  • Payroll
  • New York
  • NYSLRS Report
Cause

Maximum Reported Days not defined on Generate screen.

Resolution

Select the Update button to modify the Shared Report Definition details and populate Maximum Reported Days for each applicable Pay Cycle.

Additional Information

Reported Days is the number of days worked within the period being reported and is reported on the Contributions record.

The Generate calculates the Reported Days value by summing the hours for all pays that are not defined as ‘Exclude from Hours Worked’ on the define and then divided by the standard hours/day from the Employee Job/Salary Record.

If the calculated value is greater than the value defined in Maximum Reported Days, the Generate will use the Maximum Reported Days value instead of the calculated value.

When Maximum Reported Days are not defined, the program sees Max Days of 0, preventing Reported Days from being greater than 0.
