Workflow Criteria Attributes

Client wants to use Attributes on workflow criteria to have approvers approve certain jobs. 

• ExecuTime

• Workflow

• Time & Attendance

• Criteria

Client uses Attributes on workflow on certain employees that change jobs based on what they are doing. 

Example is employee has a direct approver who approves their time card, but when the employee changes their job on a shift its suppose to only be approved by the supervisor over that job. That way when the first approver approves the time card it will approve the employees primary position but not the secondary. It will remain unapproved until the other approver approves the time card.

To do this we must set the attribute

1. Login to Time & Attendance with Admin Access

2. Click System Admin

3. Click Workflow Management

4. Click Primary Approver

5. Click the Criteria for the employees Primary position code approver

6. Click Attribute and select Primary position code and select the correct code

7. Locate the second approver for the Secondary position code and click Criteria

8. Click Attribute and select Primary position code and select the correct code

Once these are set the primary approver will only be able to approve the employee when they use their main position code and if the employee uses the secondary the other approver will be able to approve it instead.
