Mass delete Step increase records

How to Mass delete the step increase for a Job Class and specific date records.

Cause
Resolution
There are two process to delete the records, use the global delete in Job/Salary or export the records to Excel and delete them via import.
Global delete in Employee Job/Sal:
- Go to Employee Job/Salary (Payroll>Employee maintenance>Employee Job/Salary).
- Click Global Add/Delete.
- Click Define.
- Select Delete in drop down, enter pay type, Job Class and Effective date.
- Click Accept.
- Click Execute.
- Pop-up will appear: Deleting will delete all pays for the defined pay type, the defined effective date range and other optional define criteria. In the case of base pays the corresponding linked non-base pays will also be deleted regardless of effective date. Do you want to continue? Click Yes and all the records will be deleted.
Additional Information
Import can also be used. Use How to Import Pay Raise Into Employee Job Salary but use Action Flag of D for delete and do not alter the Effective Date in the file.
