Standard Excel import not recognizing decimal point and trailing zeros when Insert decimal a point when missing is checked

I am trying to import two entries for the amount of $190.00 each. When importing, EERP powered by Munis will save the import as $1.90. Insert a decimal point when missing is checked

The data type for the cells with the amounts are set to Number instead of the Text data type. The decimal and trailing zeros are not recognized when set to the Number data type. 

Change the data type to Text and re-enter the decimal and trailing digits to the amounts.
