How to add a project to an existing journal



Context
  • Budget Transfers and Amendments

  • General Journal Entry

  • Encumbrance Journal Entry




Cause

Entered a journal and overlooked adding the project number.



Resolution

Go to the applicable program

Click Browse

Select one of these Browse Own journals, Browse All journals, Browse by Clerk

Click Accept

Highlight the journal in question

Click Accept

Click Modify Lines

Make sure that the Project fields are visible

Add the Project information

Click Accept when the update is complete




Additional Information

If the Project field are not visible

Hover the mouse over one of the names in the detail (Org, Object, Amount, etc)

Right Click

In the dropdown pick the columns that are missing

Check them off

Click Accept
