How to disable earned and used accruals for payroll.





Description of Issue

How can I turn off accrual processing so employees do not earn, or cannot use any time that will hit their accrual balances during Munis payroll?



Context

  • Run Control

  • Pay Master



Cause

Site is going to import accrual hours into Employee Accrual via third party timekeeping.



Resolution

Access the Run Control settings;

  1. Access Payroll > Payroll Set Up > Payroll Control Settings > click Accept on any record > click Run Control in the ribbon

  2. For each run type record select Generate Defaults

  3. Click Update, disable the Earn Accruals Within This Payroll setting, click Accept

Access the Pay Master: Payroll > Payroll Setup > Pay Master

  1. Search for the accrual pay codes

  2. Click Update and switch all fields to No Impact

  3. Click Accept
